Many users of CaseLogs have used various programs across various software platforms to track their cases prior to the introduction of iAnesthesia: CaseLogs.
A common question is, “Can I upload my old cases directly to the CaseLogs Database?”
Unfortunately at this time, the answer is no.
Although we are quickly progressing to an era where many of our electronic devices communicate without much difficulty, there are many, many hurdles to cross to enable our database to accept this data in a manner that would retain its original organization and relevance in our database.
We acknowledge that this could be viewed as a great limitation to those of you who have amassed a significant number of cases and data over the course of a career.
To help alleviate this problem, we can only offer two solutions, neither of which is easy.
The first solution is simply to enter your old data into our database by hand on the CaseLogs website. Very time and labor intensive however it would enable a user to take full advantage of all of our reporting and analytics features over the course of a career.
The second solution is to simply export(FUTURE RELEASE) your new data from our CaseLogs database and continue your personal database but taking advantage of the easy of data capture that the iPhone application provides.

iAnesthesia CaseLogs offers the quickest way to capture the data needed generate any number of useful reports.
When iAnesthesia was originally designed, it was designed with generating reports as one of the key features. Most anesthesia professionals have had to show, in a report, the cases that they have done as part of their training requirements.
We have created iAnesthesia: CaseLogs to make this process as easy as possible. Once you have logged your cases into the iAnesthesia Database either with the iPhone application or on the website itself simply go to the Reports Tab next to the Log History.
If you do not see the Reports tab please check your level of membership. This feature is only available to individuals with a Deluxe database membership.
Under the Reports tab, you will find .

With a WORLDWIDE database one of the features that we desired to include is non-personally identifiable comparison reports.
All of our comparison totals are generated from user data entered into the CaseLogs Database. The more users the larger the pool of data and the smoother the data.
If you are the only subscriber from your institution your institutional average will be equal to your personal average. The same principle applies to the State and Regional totals.
Comparisons that we will not be producing for general viewing include individual vs individual, institution vs institution.
